Cambridge Mechatronics Appoints Dylan Kelly as President and CEO
Cambridge Mechatronics Limited (CML), the world leader in the design and control of Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) actuator solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dylan Kelly as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, as well as a member of its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Kelly brings more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, having held senior executive roles at companies at the forefront of the smartphone and semiconductor sectors, driving rapid and profitable growth. His deep expertise spans product innovation, large-scale fabless manufacturing and business transformation – ideally positioning him to lead Cambridge Mechatronics through its next phase of expansion and innovation.
Kelly most recently served as the President and COO of Resonant Inc., where he spearheaded a strategic, operational and cultural transformation that successfully brought the company’s breakthrough acoustic-wave filter technology to market, culminating in its acquisition by Murata Manufacturing Company.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego. He is an inventor with more than 50 patents issued or pending.
