CML Climb UK Patent Applicants Ranking
A previous press release announced CML’s achievement of entering the top 50 companies in terms of UK patent applications in 2018. This information was detailed in the annual report provided by the IPO - the UK government body responsible for intellectual property (IP) rights. The list of the most prolific IP companies includes Rolls-Royce, Jaguar Land Rover, Dyson and ARM.
The IPO have recently released their analysis of 2019 patent activity. CML is once again included in the top 50 list of UK patent applicants and also climbed a further six positions in the table since last year.
As an IP licensing business, CML has an ongoing programme to increase the size of its patent portfolio which now stands at over 280 granted and pending patents. CML expects to grow its patent portfolio in the coming years as it continues to develop and grow its business.
