Cambridge Mechatronics strengthens executive management team
Cambridge Mechatronics (CML), world leaders in the development of Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) actuators, today announced two new appointments to bolster its executive management team. Andrew Bickley joins as Director for Global Sales and SY Wu joins as General Manager for Greater China.
Andrew Bickley has over 25 years’ sales experience in the semiconductor business including sales to smartphone, wireless communications and IoT customers. Prior to joining Cambridge Mechatronics, Andrew has held global, and regional sales management positions in NXP Semiconductors, Future Electronics and Arrow Electronics. These roles have included expat assignments to the East Coast of North America, Silicon Valley, and the Nordic countries. Andrew holds an Honours Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Plymouth University.
SY’s expertise is mainly in sales and product marketing in high tech sectors. He has over 20 years’ experience and extensive knowledge of the mobile device/IOT industry. Before joining CML, he was Vice President of Sales at Fingerprint Cards AB in the Greater China region. SY has also held different sales and marketing positions in companies such as Ericsson and Intel. SY holds a Master of Engineering degree from Northwestern University and an Honours degree in Computer Engineering from University of Missouri, Columbia.
