Dr Ben Brown

Dr Ben Brown is the CTO at Cambridge Mechatronics (CML) where he is responsible for the technical development of CML’s ground-breaking SMA actuator technology and applying this to a variety of applications. Ben is a prolific inventor, having filed over 150 patent families (>400 patents) in a range of disciplines. His background is in physics and his PhD was in self-assembly of colloidal particles from the University of Cambridge. Over his career Ben has focussed on micron to millimetre scale technologies and innovated and driven development in fields as diverse as piezo printing technologies, microfluidics, ultrasonic drug delivery, ink formulation and electrostatics.”
